Dear Lexington Foundation Supporter,

Please join us at and/or lend your support to The Lexington Foundation’s Night Out on Thursday, September 19, from 6-9 PM at the beautiful Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts in Gloversville!

This year’s Night Out will offer all manner of Medieval Merriment, with a nod to the popular HBO show Game of Thrones. You’ll find lots of medieval-themed fun at the event featuring live music from the band Flame, fantastic food, specialty cocktails, raffles and silent auction items. Other activities and attractions will include fantasy décor, wandering costumed performers, jousting, duels and more.

This year’s event will honor vintage rustic industrial artists Barney and Susan Bellinger who are artists-in-residence at the Nigra Arts Center. They not only work extensively with students from our Transitions program, but also with other local and regional artists…and they truly are inspirations to all! They have also have created a number of permanent installations that we are lucky enough to show off on our Nigra Arts Center campus.

This year’s NIGHT OUT event will also honor CDPHP for their amazing donation to our Transitions and Imagine Academy of the Arts programs. The support will be used to establish the CDPHP Autism Resource Center at Transitions a place for the community to access to find resources for people with autism and learning differences. The CDPHP gift is also supporting our efforts for the Imagine Academy of the Arts, a collaboration between the Transitions program and the Nigra Arts Center. This program is designed to allow those with artistic talents to grow in their art while learning independent living skills. We are so grateful to CDPHP for this impactful donation that will support programming that benefits our Transitions students and the community-at-large.

All proceeds from the Night Out will benefit the Nigra Arts Center, which is owned and operated by the Lexington Foundation. Since opening in 2015, the Nigra Arts Center has grown into the area’s largest arts and entertainment resource. Hundreds of people of all ages and abilities pass through our doors every month for classes, family events, concerts, art shows, plays, children’s camps and much more.

The Night Out will also include an opportunity to learn about and support Transitions. Co-located with the Nigra Arts Center, this award-winning program changes the lives of young people with learning differences by providing the training and skills they need to live independently and follow their college and career dreams.

We sincerely hope you will join us for this year’s Night Out! If you wish to become a sponsor, we have several levels to choose from. You can also buy a table for 10 and become a VIP Night Out Sponsor. If you would like us to create a special sponsorship package just for you, we are happy to meet with you to develop one. You may also donate to the Elmore Transitions Scholarship Fund and help make it possible for even more students to attend and benefit from this unique program. You can participate by sponsoring, buying tickets, advertising in the event program, supporting a scholarship or donating an auction item at the links found below.

Thank you for your continued support of YOUR community arts center. We can't wait to see you at this year’s Night Out on September 19.
